    いいとか悪いとかそういう問題ではなく、友達の携帯で認証はやめたほうがいいと思います。
    認証した場合の通知メールは友達の携帯に送られていくし、万が一友達のメアドがほかに流出してしまった場合、迷惑メールが送られてくることもあります。
    サイトの使用は自己責任で行ってください。
    メール認証をしなくてもログインできなくなることはあまりないと思います。
    パスワードとIDを忘れたときの対処法がないだけです。サイト自体の利用に差し支えはないと思います。
